Sweet and/or Sassy Deviled Eggs

Make 'em sweet with relish and then add bacon pepper jam to sassy them up. Recipe courtesy of Bruce Dooyema of the Iowa Egg Council.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 hard boiled eggs
  • ⅓ - ½ cup Miracle Whip (as needed)
  • 2 Tbsp honey mustard
  • 4 Tbsp drained sweet pickle relish
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • paprika
  • bacon pepper jam

Instructions
 

  • Peel eggs, cut in half lengthwise. Separate the yolks from the whites.
  • In a plastic bag, mix together the yolks, Miracle Whip, honey mustard, relish and salt. Zip the bag shut, snip off a corner end and pipe the mixture into the egg whites.
  •             -Sprinkle with Paprika
                -To sassy it up a bit- top with Bacon Pepper Jam when serving
