Strawberry Daiquiri

Sip, sip, hooray! Bring on summer happy hour. Daiquiris combine the best of booze and fruit.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz coconut or light rum
  • 2 oz triple sec
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • a few ounces of water, juice, Sprite or liquid
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries or other fruit, softened, You can substitute fresh fruit instead; just add more ice to compensate.
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar
  • cups (1½ to 2 cups) ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Add ingredients to your Vitamix® in the order listed. Where ranges are given, please experiment and tweak it to your taste! Select smoothie setting or start your Vitamix at level one and quickly increase to full speed; blend to desired texture.
